Sheffield has increased its Renewable Energy Capacity to over 3.5 kwe per 1000 people, 99 % of which was down to Solar Panel Installations in Sheffield

Not only is this fantastic news for people in Sheffield who have had Solar Panels Installed, it’s great news for Sheffield City Council who have been giving Solar Energy a big push in Sheffield

We have just completed another Solar Panel Installation In Sheffield ( Image above ) This array comprised of 20 solar panels that gave the maximum 4.0 killowatt system. The inverter was fitted in the loft space with the generation meter fitted next to the fuse board.

This was an installation of a 3.7 kwh Solar PV system in Lodge Moor, Sheffield.

Stage 1 – We remove pockets of tiles to expose the timber rafters, Now we can fix the brackets securely to the roof.

Stage 2 - Tracking system is now fitted to the brackets, the tracking system is adjustable so we make sure the panels are exactly level.

Stage 3 – Once the tracking system is plumb and level we can start to fit the solar panels securely into place by using a locking bracket.

Stage 4 – The installation of the solar panels is complete, now its time to move inside to the loft to fit the inverter and electrics.

Solar PV installation Completed, the system is already generating it’s own free electricity, all left to do now is to do now is to take down the scaffold.
